    Converting Grams/Alpha to Alpha Acid %

    These German Perle hops have this on the package...
    240g alpha.

    How does this convert to Alpha Acid?

    I feel like I should know this...

    Divide g alpha/total weight of the hops (also on package). This will give you % alpha.
