PA & Tri State Brewers How much are you selling your...

...kegs to bars and restaurant if you self distribute. We don't want to sell our selves short but don't want to scare off the local bar owners.

We are Keg sales only in sixtles for now.
Any input would be helpful.

Call a bar and ask what they are paying for beer you feel that your comparable to. I've called several bars as of late and they had no problem telling me what they paid.

it took me awhile to get this info and it was from a bar owner. In virginia 1/6 bbls are going for 65-70 for comparable craft styles.

Find a copy of the beverage journal (maybe you're friendly with a local beer store?)- all current pricing will be listed. There may be a state agency that will give you this information; beer pricing has to be posted so that all sales and prices are above board (because nothing shady ever happens in this business...)
