  • Yellow leaves

    I've got some yellow leaves near the ends of my hop vines. Any one know the problem??? (iron or nitrogen??) i've also got a row of about 40 feet of hops (one ever 3 feet or so) and on one end there 12 feet tall, but on the far end there not even off the ground. any help??? i've put some 10-10-10 out last week. we'll see if it helps??? there cascade hops...

      First year hops? I would guess iron deficiency or nitrogen burn

      Second or third year hops? Maybe lack of iron or they caught some overspray (especially if they are on one end of the row.)

      Compost tea or comfrey tea or iron foliar spray will help bring them online fastest.

        Where do you get iron foliar spray ???? They are first year hops.

          You need iron chelate foliar spray. Farm Supply or greenhouse supply or nursery should have some.
