  • Brewery Seeking Distributor

Can anyone recommend the best way to research the distribution rules in Nevada? Are you limited to a single distributor once you sign with them?

    Thanks...

    Distributor in Nevada

Try to start out with a smaller distributor. We are overstocked in Nevada with major distribution houses. There are a few mid and small outfits that carry mostly wine and spirits and are expanding their limited beer portfolio. You will be locked into a single distributor contract if they service the entire state.
Check out; Sierra Wine and Spirits in Sparks Nevada, 775.355.0490 ask for Smitty. They currently carry the Lost Coast and Anderson Valley line plus a few imports.
    Whats your location?

We are in Las Vegas and formed an entity for either a brewery or brewpub. We need to satisfy pending trademark applications by early May. We will contract brew to initially satisfy the trademark requirements. I'm in the process of determining the best way to get this limited production run distributed and into retail.

      Thanks...

        Right on.
Try contacting Ruby Mountain Brewing in Wells, they used to contract brew for Great Basin Brewing, now GB is building a 2nd facility to handle the distribution side of the brewpub. The only production brewery down south that packages in kegs and bottles, that I know of, is Joseph James in Henderson. Sin City beer used Gordon Biersch to brew, but that was for kegs only.
        Good luck
