  • Acid #5, sanitized, air filter

    3 questions for y'all:
    1) need to rinse after acid #5?
    2) need to starsan/sanitize after acid #5?
    3) what to use as air filter on compressor for aeration?

    Thanks!!!

    1) Yes. See www.fivestarchemicals.com/tech/acid5.pdf
    2) Yes. Ditto above.
    3) Use an oil-less compressor, if at all possible. Add a submicron particulate filter after the regulator (such as McMaster 9841K91). Then add an odor filter after that (such as McMaster 5757K67). That should do it! Does it for me, anyway.

        alcohol filter

used alcohol filter ,,,used a jug with a stem to the bottom and a short one in the top using 2 hole rubber bung, then your air must travel through the alcohol, works fine on smaller system.
