We are seeking an awesome individual to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of our brewery by providing oversight to all aspects of production including operations, QA, packaging, maintenance, and safety.
Duties include but are not limited to: Production Management: Ensure standard, consistent and sound procedures and practices are used for all Production Department tasks, ensure brewing and packaging scheduling and production fulfill company requirements, ensure beer supply is sufficient, quality is high, and that appropriate inventory levels are maintained, ensure a work environment and culture that embraces safe work habits, understanding of the risks, compliance with regulations, and prioritizing corrective action of any identified safety hazards or risks, ensure that all equipment and operating systems are in sufficient quantity, are reliable, and contribute positively to the quality of our beer, exceed customer expectations when delivering services, products, and information to other departments and external customers, maintain budgets for operating departments, day to day planning and budgeting along with problem solving, actively seek process improvement and efficiency, testing of new equipment and project implementation.
This individual should possess a minimum of 10 years in the brewing industry or related field, with significant time in a management/leadership role and a proven track record. Should have significant time in larger company with production levels of 50,000 bbls/year. BS in Food Science, Brewing, Chemical Engineering or related area preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communicator, excellent management and planning skills, experience in managing maintenance and reliability, with a working knowledge of a laboratory required.
