This is an entry-level position with a startup brewery.
The primary responsibility of this position is cleaning and sanitizing brewery equipment such as tanks, hoses & equipment and floors. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
The secondary responsibility of this position is brewhouse operations; which includes preparing and mixing liquids, taking measurements, and operating mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, chillers and forklifts.
Skills and Qualifications:
Good organizational skills & ability to follow workplace procedures
Basic skills involving common workplace tools
Ability to multitask
Chemical handling safety knowledge
Problem solving/troubleshooting
Proficient in written & spoken English
PC proficiency desirable
Mechanical aptitude - Knowledge of machinery and systems
Prior forklift operating experience and valid certification
Ability to lift 55 lbs.
Ability to follow chemical handling instructions
Pay: $8/hour
Willing to work overtime most weeks (paid)
