The Wrecking Bar Brewpub in L5P, part of the major renovation of the historic Marianna building constructed in 1900 will open soon.
We are in search of a General Manager who is highly motivated with a passion for people, hospitality and artisan beer.
Qualifications:
* Extensive knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least five years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
* The ability to operate a computer, P.O.S. system, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
* Project a courteous, confident and flexible attitude; work well with co-workers, employees and guests.
* Provide a clean, well-manicured persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.
* Ability to oversee other managers and/or manage staff as needed.
* Ability to interpret an income statement and implement corrective measures.
* Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 plus hours per week, as position requires.
* Accept constructive criticism.
* Work a variable and flexible schedule which will include nights, weekends and holidays.
* Be able to understand and communicate in Spanish.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Salary $50K to $60K based on experience
* Paid vacation, health insurance allowance , dining allowance
