Bottling Line Operator – Harpoon Brewery
In 1986, Harpoon co- founders Rich Doyle and Dan Kenary began brewing Harpoon in Boston to share with others the joy of making—and drinking—great beer. In 2000, we added a second brewery in Windsor, VT to keep up with the demand. We are passionate about our company and our beer, and we work each day to create great beer drinking experiences.
We have an opening for a Bottling Line Operator in our Boston Brewery
REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proper use of PPE
• OSHA approved Forklift certification
• Attention to details
• Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensure Proper packaging of labeled bottles
• Startup and shutdown of all glass and case handling processes
• Address all product quality issues immediately and stop line if issues can’t be corrected quickly
• Help to maintain accurate and detailed daily run logs
• Maintain an orderly and safe work environment within department as well as entire facility
• Participate in regular departmental meetings to review issues and propose solutions
• Maintain personal appearance and conduct reflective of professionalism and pride in Harpoon
• Follow all company policies as detailed in employee handbook – attendance, safety, IT protocols, etc
• Contributing to positive work environment through open and constructive dialog
• Contribute and receptive to continual innovation and improvements
• Assist in other departments or perform other tasks as needed
