    Karl Strauss Brewing Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Orange County and Los Angeles territories. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of the Company's sales goals in their assigned territories. He/She oversees all daily activities of the Sales Representatives and provides ongoing training and leadership to his/her direct team of reports. He/She is expected to spend approximately 80% of his/her time in the field with Sales Representatives visiting accounts and converting prospect accounts.

    Essential Functions & Duties
    · Trains, develops, provides ongoing leadership and education to his/her team of Sales Reps.
    · Manages the daily activities and sales strategies for his/her territory.
    · Develops and implements the acquisition strategy and goals in conjunction with the General Sales Manager (GSM).
    · Manages the quarterly goals for regional sales activities, implementing change as needed in order to achieve established goals.
    · Compiles sales reports for the GSM making recommendations for improvement as needed.
    · Creates and assists with the training and education for his/her territory's team.
    · Performs periodic field audits with active participation in the sales process, providing feedback to the Sales Rep and assisting with the closing of sales.
    · Completes the quarterly competitive pricing survey to assist with overall pricing strategy development.
    · Works closely with the GSM to obtain contracts with key corporate accounts and chain accounts.
    · Schedules and coordinates Tour & Tasting activities in accordance with the companyestablished procedures.
    · Maintains his/her department budget/financial statements.
    · Manages the inventory, budgets, and installation of all draught equipment.
    · Reviews monthly financials with GSM continuously updating strategies in alignment with the Company's objectives.

    Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    · Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in the consumer goods distribution industry.
    · 6+ years experience in sales with 3+ in a management capacity.
    · Familiarity with MS Access (and other database programs), PowerPoint, and Great Plains Dynamics preferred.
    · Experience with interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
    · Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
    · Strong leadership skills with abilities to multi-task and prioritize.

    Physical Demands
    Employee may be required to lift 160 pounds maximum.
    · Requires prolonged sitting and/or driving.
    · Requires frequent bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing.
    · Personal protective equipment is required to be donned when applicable, such as wearing nonslip shoes with reinforced toes while visiting accounts and utilization of a hands-free headset while driving.
    · Frequent trips up and down stairs required.
