Appalachian Brewing Co is a growing brewpub and production brewery with several locations in the Central PA area. We are looking for a strong candidate for an entry level position in its brewery operations at our Harrisburg facility.
Duties include but are not limited to: Raw material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, housekeeping, cellar-related operations, packaging operations, Local and regional delivery operation,, shipping and receiving, conduct tours, etc.
Qualifications:
Have a great attitude.
High school diploma
Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
Drive a large delivery truck
Pass a DOT physical
Clean driving record
Work in loud production environments
Work in damp/wet areas
Production maintenance background, knowledge of equipment operation and reliability.
Strong mechanical ability with problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
Good organizational and communication skills, ability to multi-task and provide accurate documentation.
Ability to follow direction, work independently and be a team player supporting business operations.
Experienced in operating a forklift
Strong attention to detail & quality
Ability to work all shifts, additional hours & weekends as necessary
Ability to follow safety protocol
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
