Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey has an opening for an experienced Packaging Line Operator in our production brewery in San Marcos, CA. This is a full-time position for someone who would like to continue to grow with us.
You must:
Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
Lift up to 55lbs repeatedly
Work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
Work in loud production environments
Work with chemicals of varying composition
Work from heights
Work in damp/wet areas
Work in confined spaces
Ability to multi-task and follow directions.
Work independently as well as a team player
Strong attention to detail & quality
The ideal candidate would also have work experience in the beverage or food industry, experience with filters, labelers, packers, and sealers, experienced in operating a forklift, bottling line and tank/keg CIP experience, good mechanical skills and understanding of machinery, and a willingness to work on the packaging lines as a part of the packaging team.
Port Brewing will not be offering compensation for relocation so preference will be given to local candidates. Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
