    We are looking for an individual that posses strong work ethic, passion, and is driven to success to join our family owned company to lead our National Accounts Program.     Responsibilities and Duties
    This position will report to the Vice President of Sales , With an emphasis on brand building, customer relations, strong communication, and delivering sales of Firestone Walker Brewing Co beers at the National Account level. You will be responsible for management of promotional activities, Merchandising goals, and support to our wholesalers and sales team on a daily basis.

    Essential duties of this position:
    Primary Duties:
    • Daily management of all National Accounts sales of on and off premise for Firestone Walker Brewing co. to national, regional, and local chain accounts.
    • Collaborate and coordinate National Account pricing & programming with FW sales team and distributors to ensure Category Management Strategies are executed on.
    • Communicate with and manage the Distributor Chain Managers to drive share of mind and effective results in the trade on chain programs, promotions, pricing, and new items.
    • Continuously assess target accounts and identify opportunities via market scan data (IRI/Nielsen)
    • Sell new accounts and new distribution along with achieving volume and sales goals.
    • Utilize a robust planning process to develop an annual account plan that establishes key programming periods to maximize brand development in chains.
    • Develop effective account presentations that ensure FW goals and strategies are being achieved using fact based selling techniques.
    • Monitor like beer brand activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated, communicated, and executed.
    • Stay current on industry developments – especially consumers trends & consumption.
    • Manage budgets to maximize dollars spent vs. returns on programs and maintaining key pricing.
    • Manage Merchandising and shelve placements in key accounts to enhance overall brands success (also includes display programs and set placements).

    Market Development

    • Be able to achieve FW’s market plan and sales goals through distributors chain teams

    • Be able to achieve and maintain FW market standards in all territories.
    • Develop key relationships with all key accounts by handling all reasonable brand support needs in account territories.
    • Know every decision maker in top on and off-premise National accounts in all markets (national buyer level).
    • Review all programs effectiveness and communicate back to the buyer level and distributor levels.

    Distributor/Market Responsibilities:


    • Become a Key Business partner at the distributors by being recognized as one of the their best supplier National Account Mangers based on contribution to the growth and prosperity of FW’s and distributor’s businesses.
    • Market Ride withs with Key distributor sales managers and reps monthly.
    • Conduct quarterly sales review meetings with distributor with your sales managers based on tracking yearly goals and what percentages we are to those goals based on National accounts sales.

    Position Standards:
    • College BA degree preferred
    • Minimum 8 years in consumer package beverage sales- alcohol industry strongly preferred.
    • Previous National Account management experience.
    • Fully understand IRI/Nielsen data and be able to fact base sell
    • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks while having excellent organization, multi-tasking, and project management abilities.
    • Strong Computer skills- must be fully proficient in Microsoft office (Power Point, Excel, Word) or Mac based iworks (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) and Data Entry.
    • Work to becoming the “ Preferred supplier” status in your distributors--the category expert and go to Account Manager.
    • Willingness to travel-- can be up to 50% of time based on need
    • Strong desire to be the best and have strong work ethic.
    • Passion and knowledge of the craft beer industry in California and Nationally a plus!
    • Able to comfortably lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs. (case of beer)
