Fully funded production brewery start-up in Chicago's northwest suburbs looking for Head Brewer.
The plan:
Money is in place to build a 30+ bbl brewhouse in the northwest suburbs of Chicago to serve the Chicagoland area. Chicago's craft beer scene is rapidly developing and we plan to contribute to this by designing, producing and selling the best beer we can dream up.
The Job:
Part brewer, part leader, part ambassador for the company, the candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the design and vision of the next great Chicagoland brewery. Things are just getting started and we are looking for someone who has been part of building a brewery from the ground up to share the vision and help get this exciting project off the ground.
The Candidate:
Strong management skills, degree (Brewing, Science or Engineering), and a minimum of 4-5 years of brewery supervisory/management experience is needed for successful candidacy. Good verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills are required. Self-starter with strong interpersonal and motivations skills required. Full understanding of beer science, brewhouse, and cellar operations are a must. Past brewery installation experience necessary.
Compensation will be competitive and profit sharing / phantom stock will be offered. Relocation support available.
