You should send this picture to Dwight at brewerygaskets.com, and maybe he can help. He has seen almost every type of fitting ever used in brewing. If it turns out to be a 4" you have no problem, if its a 3 1/2" that is going to be hard to source, and you may have to have one modified to fit, or a custom cut gasket of some sort. Good luck.

What a pain! I need three of these for the top of my fermenters/cip arm... 4" is too large and 3" is too small. Google turns up nothing as well.
I'll get with brewerygaskets for sure! Thanks!Nate Cornett

You have a DIN (sometimes DN) size TC-type gasket.
I'm sure they can help you.

3" schedual 5 fitting
Hi,
That looks like a 3" schedual 5 fitting. The DIN triclamp fittings usually use a standard gasket but the weld end is different
The gasket you need is a 40MV-U-3.0 and they are about $1.80 each in Buna.Last edited by CPESystems; 01-15-2013, 02:23 PM.Your CPE Systems Team!

3" Schedule 5 Tri-Clamp gasket
Hi Liam,
It is a 3" Schedual 5 Tri-Clamp. They are not common but show up every once in a while. It is strange to see one on the top of a tank like this. They most commonly are used as a body gasket on manufactured assemblies like, 3" inline strainer bodies, check valves, rupture discs or sightglass assemblies. Where the end fittings are 3" TC but the housing is bigger to hold the strainer or disc or glass, ect. A good example is the body gasket on this ball check valve.

Hey everyone,
Stumbled across this thread while looking for a reducer and gasket for a port that appears to be same thing (3" Schedule 5 Tri-Clamp) that Don suggested. I'm having a tough time finding a replacement gasket and reducer (something like this - http://www.glaciertanks.com/TriClamp..._Reducers.html) to go to a 1.5" TC.
Here are some photos below, anyone think this is the same thing as discussed above, or is it something different all together. The diameter of the pipe that the end is connected to is just about 3.5" (it's hard to see in the photo). Thanks everyone, I very much appreciate any insight.
