Job opening at Indeed Brewing Company
Indeed Brewing Company is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated, and quality focused individual to join our team as the head of packaging in our rapidly growing, fast paced production brewery in Northeast Minneapolis.
Primary responsibilities will include,
• Leading production runs on our automated canning line.
• Filling keg production orders with our semi-automated keg filler/washer.
• Supervising 750ml bottle filling.
• Cleaning empty kegs with our semi-automated keg filler/washer.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the packaging area.
In addition to these responsibilities our head of packaging will be cross-trained and at times responsible to fulfill the following duties.
• Cellar duties including the cleaning and sanitizing of brewing vessels.
• Assisting with brewing operations.
• Warehouse management and organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Experience in a commercial production brewery or brew pub.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems.
• The ability to move objects weighing up to 160-pounds and able to lift and carry 60-pounds.
• A strong work ethic and be willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done right including shift work, night shifts, early mornings, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be computer literate in spreadsheets and any experience with SAP Business One software is a huge plus.
• Tolerance for working in a fast growing startup business environment where there is not always a set protocol or procedure for what you are doing, where plans change quickly, and the pressure is on!
