PACKAGING LINE OPERATOR (leading to Brew-team)
London UK
Meantime Brewing Company are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join the Company, starting in the Packaging Team.
We produce a great range of high-quality beers, and we require our packaging to maintain and reflect this. After recent investment in the best equipment available, we are currently realising significant growth, so it is an ideal time to join the company.
Once inducted into the Team, primary duties involve preparing, running and shutting-down the bottling and keg lines. This includes machine operation, quality inspections, cleaning and basic maintenance. Full training is provided for our standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
Meantime is introducing an intensive training framework, where all brewery staff will contribute to being of a ‘Company of Brewers’. The successful applicant needs to align with the company vision and structure going-forward. This means after a period of time in packaging, the role will shift into cellar, filtration and brewhouse duties, and then back to packaging on a rotating basis. So you would be part of a team, of fully educated and skilled brewery staff, from grain to package. Which is also excellent for your personal career growth.
We are ideally seeking applicants with brewing qualifications and/or previous industry experience. But a passion for craft beer brewing, a desire to innovate and share our passion towards craft beer, is essential to being successful.
Benefits include:
• Company healthcare plan
• Pension scheme
• Upon successful completion of the induction period, will be integrated into the Company bonus structure.
The role requires some heavy lifting. Attention to detail, machine problem-solving and efficient working practices are required. Work is structured around alternating early and late shifts.
Applicants need to be EU citizens or have a visa to live and work in the UK.
For a copy of the full job description or to apply with CV and cover letter, please email bruce.turner@meantimebrewing.com
Application close 30th April 2013, with a starting date during May.
