Low budgets seem to be the catalyst for small, albeit necessary, "hand crafted" equipment in the brewery. I'm in the same boat and I'm willing to bet a lot of you have, too. Anyone know of any solid designs or ideas for keg cleaning and sanitizing? It's looking like I'm cleaning by hand for the foreseeable future and I'm not exactly excited about manually disassembling and cleanings/sanitizing 1/2bbls and sixtels. My keg spear depressor and removal knife just arrived today. Save me!

I guess I should have done a search before posting a redundant thread.
Anybody have a rough estimate of what a build like that would cost? It doesn't seem like it would be too bad.Mike Slone

do not do that
That homemade keg cleaner looks sad and dangerous. Keg cleaning is one of the most important part of the process. Why be cheap about it? Be safe.
P.S.
That piece of equipment is not fit to be in a commercial brewery.Last edited by revolutioned; 06-22-2013, 10:24 PM.
