AleSmith is hiring Packaging Techs
AleSmith Brewing Company, one of San Diego's most award winning breweries, is continuing to expand and seeking new Packaging Techs who want to grow their career in the craft beer industry.
We are looking for candidates who like working in a team environment, that are committed to integrity, quality, and a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities include:
• General cleaning and sanitizing of the brewery and equipment.
• Assist with setup, shutdown, cleaning and operating of packaging machinery.
• Assist with bottling and packaging of beer by operating bottling and packaging machinery.
• Stack beer cases with use of forklift in warehouse and conduct and document inventory.
• Operate keg washing machine to wash and sanitize kegs.
• Responsible for carbonating beer, bottle conditioning, kegging beer, and cleaning equipment following SOPs.
• Shipping and receiving of supplies and beer to include stacking cases and wrapping pallets for orders, forklift operation, and unloading and loading trucks, storing and removing kegs from coldbox.
• Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Participate in continuing education related to brewery and packaging operations, and safety and regulatory requirements.
• Represent Company by attending and/or pouring at special events such as industry conferences, beer dinners and beer festivals.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years related experience working in warehouse, production line, or food and beverage role. Prior forklift experience strongly preferred. Brewery experience strongly preferred.
