The Line Operator performs all tasks involved in the packaging of products on the packaging line. This includes machine operation, inspection, maintenance and packing. This role is typically 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm. However, all roles in the brewery require availability to work other shifts and in other departments in order to best meet business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Safely set-up and operate packaging equipment as directed.
•Troubleshoot machinery during operation.
•Make necessary adjustments to misadjusted equipment and report major malfunctions.
•Manage quality control of all machine applications.
•Maintain quality control of product leaving designated machine.
•Wear the proper safety equipment.
•Maintain a clean and safe work area.
•Clean machines at the end of packaging run.
•Be flexible with tasks - must be willing to do what needs to be done, including extensive, thorough and frequent cleaning.

Required Skills:
The successful candidate will be able to take direction, have some mechanical ability, be confident in asking questions and sounding alarms when things aren't right. Attention to detail is key as is being able to work long hours while standing on cement floors in a very loud, wet environment. You must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation.
