    The Traveler Beer Company is a collaboration between Alchemy & Science and Boston Beer Company - and we need you to sell the world's greatest tasting Shandy. We need you promoting Shandy in the New Orleans market. Don't know what a Shandy is? That's your job security - few people in the US do. You will educate them.

    Your job, should you meet our qualifications, is to be the Sales Market Manager for the New Orleans Market. Your days and nights will be filled with building awareness of our new beers, creating community for the brand through numerous account promotions, retails sales calls and events, while creating and maintaining genuine working relationships with retailers and wholesalers.





    Ingredients to be a Sales Market Manager:



    •Execute fun and engaging brand interactions for our drinkers, retailers and wholesalers through promotions and events
    •Help create and Execute the Market Plan including: volume, targeted account distribution and visibility goals by (distributor) and package;
    •Set objectives and tactics to achieve goals by Class Of Trade;
    •Manage budgets by market;
    •Manage beer and Point of Sale Inventory;
    •Utilize monthly reports to develop and target territory goals;
    •Use Traveler Beer Company systems to organize and preplan market objectives;
    •Maintain professional business relationships with core accounts to include: ownership, management, and head bar staff;
    •Executes impactful promotions at On and Off Premise locations;
    •Must be able to practice Traveler Beer Company selling process and selling skills to include; Sales Call Procedures, Processes and Skills, Merchandising Standards, Understand bracketing, concession management, and negotiating tactics;
    •Must be able to find new business by; Identifying and prioritizing future opportunities for incremental volume and developing tactics to close identified opportunities with Distributor with new brand;
    •Effectively communicates internally and externally;
    •Deliver and manage transactional actives under deadlines such as; reporting market survey recaps; and executing the annual review process
    •Lead and have strong working relationships by; establishing rapport with wholesaler middle and upper level management, Instilling commitment and enthusiasm for high levels of performance, working cooperatively with others across the A&S/Traveler Beer Company organization;
    •Must be current and fluent in market and competitors to include: Distribution and Volume trends, Market Share, Wholesaler Network, Supplier Network, IRI, Cognos, and other data sources to evaluate Traveler Beer Company business and make recommendations to retailers, and distributors.
    •Travel Required: 25% - 4-5 days a month
    •Must be able to work nights and weekends promoting our products through customer interactions






    To Be Mixed With:



    •Bachelor’s Degree Required;
    •Minimum of 3-5 years of Consumer Package Sales;
    •Must be able to lift 1 case of beer.
    •Adult alcohol industry experience strongly preferred
