I'm currently looking at locations to open a meadery (honey wine). Recently I came across a location that is essentially a warehouse - no ventilation system at all. I live in the Pacific Northwest so AC is not a must in the summer, and there is a heater for the winter.
However, I realize that what I need or do not need for temperature comfort does not necessarily correspond with what is safe or legally required. Can anyone shed some insight on what sort of ventilation I'd require (if any) for a 10 bbl operation that will not include any milling or boiling? Would I need some sort of forced air system or could I go without?
Thanks!
