Brewery Packaging Position (Midvale, UT)
Bohemian Brewery has an opening for an entry level packaging position.
Position is 40 hours/week on the packaging end of the brewery (cans, kegs).
Applicants must have:
* Strong mechanical background
* Willingness to work at a fast pace, yet be precise in daily tasks
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift 55 lbs
* Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and work in extreme cold
* Work well under pressure and stress.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direct supervision
* Flexible hours to support line startup, CIP’s, and changeover
* Fork lift certification a plus
* Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform prioritized and scheduled maintenance
* Troubleshoot to minimize production downtime.
* Ensure efficient operation of the machines and facility.
* Assist in setting up and making running adjustments to equipment
* Assist production staff in performing their duties through direction and assistance.
* Complete project work as assigned by supervisor, often outside of core discipline.
* Attend and participate constructively in meetings.
* Safely use a wide variety of power and hand tools.
* Ensure the equipment is setup, maintained, and operated to allow for efficient and safe packaging of quality product.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.
* The ability to do heavy lifting and snow removal work as required.
