Maintenance Manager/Mechanic: Port City Brewing Company, Alexandria VA

We are fast growing brewery. We produced over 5000 bbls last year(our second year) and expect to sell 50 to 100 % more this year. We are moving toward brewing, cellaring, kegging, bottling, shipping, receiving, and maintenance, all in one day. We need a designated maintenance person to make sure all of our systems are ready and safe to use..

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 yrs experience in the industry.

The most important skill we are looking for is experience with maintaining and repairing GAI/CIMEC bottlers.

After that, experience with:

-IDD keggers
- High pressure steam
- Air compressors
-JVNW brewhouses
-G&W chillers
- Forced main sewer systems
- Three phase electrics
- Bulk CO2
- Electric lift trucks
-Plant safety

An individual with high mechanical aptitude and ambition is what we are looking for. We are a small company and you will be expected to be cross-trained to some degree, Based on your interest and comfort level, this can include brewing and cellaring. We are a hands on brewery and you will be expected to lift 55lb sacks; help clean; work in cold, hot and confined spaces and work early morning and evening shifts.
