I'm hoping to make some connections on here as I continue my search for a job in a Seattle brewery.
My name is Jeff and I have spent the past 13 years in the specialty coffee industry as a barista, trainer, manager, competition judge, service technician, and most recently as a cupping specialist (coffee sensory specialist). Over the past 2 years I have been preparing myself and taking steps towards making a career transition into craft beer in a brewery. I believe that my sensory skills and my particular personality and work ethic make me a great candidate for a brewery job. While all of my work experience is in coffee, I have a long history of homebrewing, a solid familiarity with beer culture, a great love for craft beer, and a strong desire for a challenging new career in an industry offering me ample opportunities for learning and growth. I take great pleasure in having a hand in creating something that people consume, and I would love to do this behind the scenes in a brewery.
I am available anytime now with a proper two week notice for my current employer and I am more than happy to get my foot in the door with a cellar or production position. Full time work is preferred.
