    JOB TITLE: Accounting Clerk
    LOCATION: Corporate Office
    REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
    POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Hourly Employee
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 12/2/13-12/15/13

    POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Accounting Department the Accounting Clerk will assist Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialists
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Match receivers to invoices and verify pending remittances in accounts payable.
    •Maintain entertainment stats weekly including band checks and 1099 information.
    •Maintain accurate files of external vendors/services contracts.
    •Verify and approve expense reimbursements.
    •Match & verify Logistics remittances.
    •Enter invoices/credit memos into company accounting program as needed.
    •File and maintain paperwork/copies to meet and exceed external regulatory requirements.
    •Responsible for ensuring all outgoing mail is sent in accordance to company needs.
    •Prepare and deposit bank deposits to the company checking account.
    •Prepare and review EFT transactions for wholesaler.
    •Prepare monthly statements for wholesalers.
    •Audit account receivable aging reports to verify accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
    •Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    •None

    MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:
    •Microsoft Operating based computer
    •Cisco Multi-line Phone System
    •General Office Equipment (i.e.: copy, fax, scanner and postage machines)

    •Honesty and trustworthiness
    •Mathematical and accounting skills
    •Strong communication skills
    •Ability to multi-task
    •Ability to work independently
    •Self motivation and strong problem-solving skills required
    •Diplomacy in dealing with wholesalers
    •Strong organizational skills

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •Prior experience working with Microsoft Great Plains- Dynamics Accounting Software.
    •Prior experience with Concur Expense Solutions.
    •Proficiency in Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access Database, and Microsoft Outlook on a Windows based PC.
