    JOB TITLE: Purchasing & Inventory Control Coordinator
    LOCATION: Comstock Brewery
    REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager
    POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Hourly
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 12/2/13-12/15/13

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Purchasing & Inventory Control Coordinator arranges and develops administrative functions related to the Purchase Order and Inventory Control process, while working in a safe environment, demonstrating a high level of morale, exhibiting quality workmanship, and creating a high level of productivity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Collect and organize Purchase Requisitions from Requestors (Bell’s Employees) throughout the Bell’s Organization.
    •Prepare requested purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics GP and send copies to Vendors & Requestors.
    •Follow-up with Vendors to schedule and expedite deliveries.
    •Coordinate inbound dock schedules, setting up date and times for delivery. Coordinate information with Logistics Department Personnel.
    •Work with vendors to resolve all over, short, and damaged (OS&D), missed, or late deliveries and other issues that may arise with Vendors.
    •Respond to Requestor and Vendor inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
    •Check shipments upon arrival to ensure order specifications are accurate.
    •Collaborate with other Bell’s locations/departments with assistance in collecting bill of ladings, packing slips, and/or quotations to ensure prompt processing of Purchase Orders.
    •Close out Purchase Orders upon completion of Purchase Order process, including receipt entry and batch posting in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
    •Assist in posting department inventories in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
    •Maintain daily changes of inventory information in the INFOR EAM database.
    •Perform spare parts inventory management and auditing on a quarterly basis.
    •Create new bin locations/part numbers for new parts coming into maintenance inventory.
    oNew part numbers
    oNew bin locations
    oNew bar codes on bins
    oUpdating databases

    OTHER ACTIVITIES: Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:
    •Computer Equipment
    •Telephone
    •Pallet Jack (occasional)
    •Fork Lift (occasional)

    IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    •Exceptional data entry skills.
    •PC Skills, including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
    •Knowledge of the Receiving process in a Logistics/Warehouse/S&R Department setting.
    •Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    •A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively.
    •Excellent communication skills across departments and locations within the Bell’s organization.
    •Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

    •Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
    •Secondary time will be spent on the Receiving Docks or other Bell’s locations as needed.
