BELLA VISTA BEER DISTRIBUTORS is one of the fastest growing beer wholesalers in the US and is currently seeking Sales Representatives for the MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND LEHIGH VALLEY Territories These positions will secure new business via direct sales and develop existing business via promotional execution and merchandising activities. We offer a competitive salary, commission based packages and paid vacation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers, bars and restaurants in area
Assume a leadership role in identifying growth opportunities with new and existing accounts
Use data to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, and incremental volume increases
Represent the Brewery at festivals and events such as but not limited to brewery dinners, samplings, and promotions
Sell in and conduct training programs with accounts
Work with Events team members to identify event opportunities at accounts
Work with Delivery team members to identify merchandising needs or other opportunities at accounts
Compile and submit sales data/reports to Director of Sales as requested
Closely monitor progress of territory and within accounts
IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Two years industry experience selling craft beer preferred
Strong knowledge of the local market for craft beer and high level of craft beer product knowledge
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with top level account decision makers, and all internal stakeholders at both wholesale and retail levels
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work independently with little supervision – self motivated
Ability to work within a team to accomplish goals
Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
Competitive spirit with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
An assertive, friendly and confident personality
Strong judgment and professional maturity
Excellent oral, analytical, written, and group presentation communication skills
Strong organizational & planning skills
Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable automobile
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to frequently lift/move 30 lb cases and occasionally lift and/or move up to 160 lbs kegs.
