In the past five years, MAMMOTH BREWING COMPANY has more than tripled in size to over 5,300 bbls/year and is perhaps the fastest growing company in the Eastern Sierra. We recently added tank capacity to allow us to grow to over 8,000 bbls/year. We self distribute between Bishop & June Lake and into Yosemite National Park. In addition to our Type 23 license, we hold Type 09 & 17 licenses and distribute a few select craft beers in addition to our own. We own & produce the Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza and have a very successful destination tasting room in Mammoth Lakes. We are 100% family owned and planning for employee ownership opportunities in the future. We are very active in CCBA, our local community, love our craft beer culture & out door lifestyle.
We are now preparing for next year’s major 60 bbl brew house & production facility greenfield project. At that time, MBC will immediately roll out our products statewide in California. Mammoth Brewing expects to grow to distribution in 4 western states through up to 20 outside distributors over the next 5 years. We need talented staff to grow with us! Immediately we are seeking:
CONTROLLER in a salaried position and critical to the growth of MBC. Primary responsibilities include financial processes & software, developing standards, performing internal audits, managing corporate accounting & finance, developing & tracking budgets, analyzing data, monitoring financial performance, structural integrity & accountability. Supporting the CFO, the controller assists in maximizing return on assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems and analyzing returns on investments. Skill set MUST include excellent organization, extensive computer skills (particularly Quickbooks), superior problem solving abilities and at least five years of successful people management. Commitment to long-term, local living in the Eastern Sierra and community involvement is a must. Experience in the craft beer industry is a huge plus. This position will be based immediately in Mammoth Lakes and may move to Bishop within the next 18 months.
