We are a soon-to- open brewpub located just outside of Austin poised for rapid growth. We’re seeking an organized and charismatic Distribution Manager to work side-by-side with the GM in selling, distributing and servicing canned and draft product of the absolute highest quality. Distribution Manager will have the opportunity to help run a state-of-the-art brewery in a beautiful location serving the burgeoning Austin market.
The Distribution Manager will be wholly responsible for the sales, delivery, and marketing of our product. These tasks will be performed solely by the DM at first, with the expectation of rapid growth and addition of other employees. Employees hired under the distribution umbrella in the future will answer to the DM.
Requirements:
-3 years distribution experience at a craft brewery
- Must be a self-starter with a knack for sales
- Must be able to meet established quarterly sales goals
- Must be able to safely drive a delivery vehicle and possess a valid US driver’s license
-Must be able to lift kegs (160 lbs) and cases of cans
-Must be able to manage self and others so as to maximize efficiency
-Must be familiar with Excel and Quickbooks
-Must be willing to build and maintain distributor partnerships
-Must be able to deliver periodic sales reports to Head Brewer and GM
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends
-Must be able to communicate the company story and values to accounts and customers
-Must be “the face” of the brewery, with an unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible quality and service to the customer
