One of the oldest and largest craft breweries in the Philadelphia marketplace is looking for an experienced head cellarperson to join our team. Job will be responsible for all components of the cellar operations. If you do not love craft beer and the craft beer industry, please do not apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General brewery cleaning
- Keg cleaning/Racking
- Vessel CIP
- Vessel transfers & carbonation
- Grain handling
- Canning line pack-out
- Setting up and packaging customer orders
- Inventory tracking
- Travel to and participation in trade shows and beer related events
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full knowledge of brewing process
- Previous cellar experience required (1 year minimum)
- Commitment to safety and proper chemical handling
- Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Positive outlook and attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Ability to manage multiple processes at one time
- Self motivated with good time management skills
- Ability to coordinate with other departments according to schedule
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff throughout the brewery
- High School diploma (college degree a plus)
- Forklift license/certification
- Clean driver's license in PA or NJ
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be 21+ years of age with proof you can legally work in the USA
- Canning line experience a big plus
All applicants must be willing to take a mandatory drug screening and undergo background check
Compensation is determined based on level of experience and ranges from $10-$12/hour. Benefits include paid vacation time, paid holidays, healthcare plan contributions and parking expense allowance.
