I am wondering if anyone has had this experience before, my mill and auger are new (5 batches), but I have been getting a strong smell of butter a couple of days after my last two batches. I was thinking maybe some condensation vented into the auger, but when I take the access panel off everything looks dry, and would damp malt even make that smell? It doesn't seem to effect the grain when I mill in (doesn't have a butter smell and mash goes fine), but I would like to know what is causing it.
