Seeing lots of these used 7bbl skid mounted systems (presumably by Specific or DME?) for sale. Are they any good? They're a bit pricey.

Specific, DME, converted dairy tanks, everyone has their opinions and favorites, but they could be Pub systems as well. A whole bunch of Hops Brewery & Grills have recently closed throughout the South. (Don't most ads specify the manufacturer?)
If they are Pub systems, perhaps check out the previous threads regarding such. No one sounded terribly positive. At least about customer service.
And yes, skids seems to cost more than one would expect.

Size is not cost effective
7 BBL is not an effective size. To large for a secondary system, and to small for a successful pub. Utility costs are a major factor for Pubs.
