  • silicic acid (NALCO) is crystalizing into slush in container

Anyone have this happen? Last container of our silicic acid turned into a crystal slush. Doesn't seem to work now, either.

Can't figure out how to edit on new layout. It's not silicic acid. It's Kieselsol.

It definately means it is no good. My guess is that it froze. We had a quart bottle in a case of 12 that was also crystalized a few months back.

Not sure about Kieselsol, but we had a batch of Biofine Clear crystalize this winter after it was exposed to near freezing temperatures. Like your Kieselsol, it did not work once crystalized. We were unable to get it back to a liquid state and finally tossed it.
