  • Acid Dosing Pump

We're looking at dosing food-grade acid into our sparge water as it's pumped from our HLT to our sparge arm. We would need a fairly accurate way to meter in the acid according to how much sparge water goes by. Can someone recommend a pump for such a purpose?

    Acid Dosing - LMI Pump

A very good, reliable and cost effective brand is LMI. Order the LMI pump AA951 or equivelant with the Stainless fittings with an LMI flow meter. You can link them directly together with a single plug and cord.

    Prost!

Another good dosing pump style choice would be peristaltic. You may get one cheaper than the above.

AS PK has suggested that type of pump is also possible. I have run a brand called Stenner in the peristaltic type.
They have been around for a long time.
