WANTED: Cellar Position
Grayton Beer Company in Santa Rosa Beach, FL is blowing up and we need a few extra hands
to join us on our journey to the next level. We operate a 3 vessel 30 BBL brewhouse and
currently bottle and keg with plans to can in the near future. Our facility is located in beautiful
South Walton county Florida, set in a heavily wooded commerce park and just a few miles from
the white sandy beaches we call home. Join us!
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to)
- fermentation tank and brite tank CIP procedures
- monitoring fermentation
- precise data recording
- yeast harvesting and strain maintenance
- keg washing and filling as well as bottling line if needed
- assist brewer with milling and graining out procedures
- carbonation of final product
- overall appearance of the brewery
- shipping and receiving
- aiding head and assistant brewers as deemed necessary
- lead tours, tastings and attend special events
SKILLS
- 1+ years experience in a production brewery
- positive mental attitude and thick skin
- must have strong independent work ethic as well as good team dynamics
- timely analysis and problem solving
- organization and detail oriented
- be able to operate a fork lift and a pallet jack
- flexibility in scheduling (long hours or weekends) and duties
- must be able to lift 70#, roll 170# kegs on and off pallets and be able to stand, bend and
crouch for entire shift if necessary
