  • Sheet Recycle

Does anyone know of a way to recycle their filter sheets from their plate filter? It occured to me that they add up quickly and just go take up useful space in a landfill. Are there places that take these things or other uses for the used sheets?

    Just doing my part.

    Still looking...

I'm still looking for ways to reuse/recycle the plate filter sheets I use instead of just disposing them. Any ideas other brewers have would be great.

Maybe an industrial composter who has the machinery to "mill them".

buy a de filter. the used sheets are paper, plus de and resin (glue). They could be recycled with paper....but they are messy, heavy, and stinky after a day in the recycle bin!

          Reuse

Coors recycles theirs by shredding cleaning and reforming filter sheets! Or at least they used too!
