Hello All,
I am strongly considering building my own cold room. The room will be for storage of packaged product only (kegs and cans), no tanks (everything is jacketed).
Any suggestions on where to source a sliding door that (1) seals and (2) is large enough to drive a fork truck through? Or even a pallet jack as I am hoping to outgrow this room within 3 years. Building the room is straightforward but I'd like to start with the door to build around.
I am planning on a strong ceiling (maybe for a keg hoist or similar) and FRP panels on drywall on the inside using some sort of foam or polystyrene insulation. Anyone used any of the spray-in insulation types? We have an excellent contractor right in town.
Suggestions on doors and insulation appreciated. This will be attached directly to our coated concrete floor and our refrigeration contractor will handle all the relevant sizing details.
Thanks,
John
