    Growler Sales Manager at Lucid Brewing

    Overview:
    Lucid Brewing, a growing and dynamic brewery in Minnetonka, MN seeks a Growler Sales Manager and tour operator with customer service background, and positive energy.

    A Growler Sales Manager schedules the part-time growler staff, coordinates and leads tours of the facility, coordinates and hosts private events, inventories and sells merchandise, and is responsible for growing the team and sales.

    Successful candidates will have working knowledge of craft brewing, experience with retail sales, hospitality industry or event planning, and management experience.

    This role is part-time, 25 hrs/wk, mostly nights and weekends.

    Job Description:
    Job Title: Growler Sales Manager
    FLSA Status: Part-Time Hourly (25 hours/week)
    Reports to: Sales Manager

    Summary Description:
    Responsible for scheduling part-time growler sales staff, coordinating and executing tours and private events, and merchandise management.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Manage Part Time growler sales staff
    o Posts monthly schedule
    o Works with On/Off premise sales leaders to coordinate personnel for festivals and off-premise sampling events
    o Ensures all SOP are up to date and proper training has been administered
    o Completes weekly sales and register reports
    o Acts as host to greet customers at public and private events at the brewery.
    • Tour coordination
    o Posts weekly tours to website
    o Responds to requests for and schedules VIP and private tours
    o Leads tours
    o Trains staff on good tour practices
    o Enthusiastic and energetic
    • Merchandise Manager
    o Sells merchandise and growlers
    o Stock merchandise shelves in an organized fashion
    o Completes weekly inventory reports
    o Ability to manage and protect Lucid brewing assets.
    o Demonstrates pride and interest in effective merchandising.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience
    o Two years hospitality or event-planning experience preferred
    o Two to three years management experience preferred
    o Experience with POS equipment and retail sales
    o Experience in craft brewing preferred

    • Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    o Working knowledge of the craft beer industry
    o Working knowledge of major beer styles, including origins and flavor profiles
    o Organizational skills in merchandising, time management, goal achievement and task prioritization
    o Proven management skills and team development
    o Accuracy in cash and credit card transactions
    o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    o Ability to manage cash and other Lucid assets
    o Ability to operate merchandise point-of-sale system
    o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    o Engaging personality with ability to work with all types of people
    o Excellent customer service skills
    o Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    • Working Conditions:
    o Ability to stand for long periods of time and do physically demanding work is required.
    o Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
    o Willingness to work events on evenings and weekends is required.
