    Wicked Weed Brewing is seeking a qualified cellar person to join our fast-growing wood cellar operation. We are a young, growing company located in one of the most eclectic and Brew-Focused cities in America. We have an un-compromising stance on quality and a personal devotion to our beers that borders on absurd. We specialize in Wild and Sour styles ranging from mixed culture Saisons, 100% Brett Farmhouse beers to inoculated, fruited Sours and anything in between. As a member of the “Funkatorium” team you will work exclusively with wild and sour styles. There will be no cross-over with our “clean” production program, so a strong desire to learn barrel-work and a passion for funky styles are a must.

    Duties include:
    -Yeast Harvesting
    -Barrel stabilization and maintenance
    -Racking in and out of barrels
    -Standard cellar work: PH monitoring, Gravities, Crash schedule etc.
    -Organizing and collecting records
    -Light package duties (bottling and kegging)
    -CIP and sanitization
    -General cleaning and cellar organization
    -Dry hopping and adjunct processing (Mostly Fruit)

    A qualified candidate does not need prior wood cellar experience but must have 1-2 years minimum PROFESSIONAL brewing experience.
    - Yeast management
    -CIP and Sanitation knowledge
    - Fermentation Management and Monitoring
    - Record Keeping Skills
    -Basic troubleshooting abilities
    -Ability to lift 80lbs
    -Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly overhead
    -Receive criticism and follow specific instructions
    -Trustworthiness to work well alone and hold a high personal standard

    A strong Candidate will have:
    -Prior knowledge of souring bacteria and microbes
    -Ability to follow and a familiarity with SOP’s
    -“No Matter What” work ethic
    -Ability to keep organized records
    -Positive attitude in all scenarios
    -Flexibility with schedule and shifts as needed for production
    -Valid drivers license
    -Knowledge of OSHA standards
    -Knowledge of Forklift operation
