    Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, CT is seeking an individual to join the brewing team as part of cellar operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beer, strong work ethic, and a commitment to cleanliness and quality. Brewing experience or education is preferred but not necessarily required.     The primary responsibility of the Cellar Technician #2 is to provide support to the rest of the production staff for the assigned shift. The Cellar Technician must coordinate with the Brewing staff to effectively manage the processing of beer to meet the demands of the production schedule.

    REPORTS TO: Cellar Manager & Shift Brewer(s)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Run cellar operations including CIP (Clean-In-Place), dry hopping, transfers, and barrel and firkin racking. This position does not require operation of the centrifuge.
    Ensure that the cellar is clean and organized at all times.
    Coordinate with the Cellar Manager and Brewers to ensure that beer required for packaging is ready when needed.
    Coordinate with the Cellar Manager and Brewers to ensure that tanks will be ready for wort or beer when needed.
    Coordinate with the Cellar Manager and Brewers to load grain, sugars, or other brewhouse additions to meet the demands of the brewing schedule.
    Complete all work according to Two Roads SOP’s and safety programs.
    Report required maintenance.
    Monitor chemical, PPE inventory, and raw material inventory.
    Report to the Shift Supervisor to ensure a complete information pass-on at each shift change and a smooth shift transition for the incoming production team.
    Ensure that all production data is logged in the appropriate place(s).
