Setting Temperature Question

How do you control the temp setting for the solenoid on a fermentation tank?

We have a simple setup. We have 24 volt A/C Johnson controls 419 powered by a $30 transformer i bought from a local electrical supply house. They said it was a doorbell transformer. We fabricated our own temp probes with tri-clamp adapters. We insert the JC temp sensor into the probes about 12". We mounted the JC controls on the leg of the tank so it's within reach (4' of sensor cable) of the Tri-clamp fitting on the tank. They make longer temp sensors but we used the standard ones that came in the box. The stainless tubing on the temp probes is 1/2" OD and approximately 3/8" ID. Set the JC to your preferred temp. And differential.
