  • Circulating Pump for Glycol System

I am trying to size a circulation pump for (2) 3 BBL FV and (1) 3 BBL BT with capacity to add (1) 7 BBL FV. Chiller is located only 10' above the lowest point of 3/4" Pex plumbing.

Would a 1/2 HP pump rated for 50 GPM at 10' head work?

That pump seems a bit small. Not so much the flow rate but the maximum head. 10 ft of head is only 4.34 psi and I suspect the pressure drop through the jackets on your tanks is more than that.
