  • Clear Coat for ploshed copper?

I hate polishing. I dislike my staff polishing when they could be making beer but we have a lot of copper on a very public show brewery, I am looking for a clear coat of some kind that could be applied after polishing copper to protect it and reduce the frequency of polishes needed. Might any of you know of any product that can do such a thing? Thank you in advance.

    Cheers and Happy Holidays

We've had pretty good success with a clear spray lacquer. The problem with lacquer is that when a bit gets scratched or peels, the whole thing has to be stripped and refinished. I use Renaissace brand micro-crystalline wax for my own metalworks--knives and guns--and it's very durable, easily refinishable, and doesn't require a nasty stripper for touch-up. It's spendy--around $30 for 200ml, but that's deceptive since it goes a very, very long ways,
