Fortnight Brewing Company is a Craft Brewery and Pub located in Cary, NC. We reproduce tastes of UK beer styles that some of our partners drank in their native England. Our current core range of English Ale, Porter and ESB use only English grown ingredients and yeast. We also offer a Blonde Ale, Coffee Amber and an IPA that is a fusion of English and American IPA styles. We will soon introduce a range of cask-conditioned ales.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Previous sales experience and knowledge of the Charlotte beer market and good local contacts
• Knowledge of distributor operations and how to work with distributors
• Interacting with on and off premise customers on a daily basis to ensure proper placement
• General knowledge of UK beer styles and cask ale. Craft beer, competitors market share and product offerings
• Provide daily and weekly recaps of previous week’s activities to management as instructed
• Represent the brewery at event promotions, beer tastings and festivals
Other Requirements
• Must be 21 years old with reliable personal transportation
• Must provide proof of valid State registration, automobile insurance and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 30-50# with regularity
• Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server preferred
• Must live in the Charlotte area
• Ability to work irregular hours and weekends
Salary and Benefits:
• Rate of pay commensurate with experience
• Paid vacation time
• Beer stipend
