  • Tubing clips

    This is a really dumb question.

    I am am looking to replace some broken plastic pieces that hold tubing together on our keg washer. They are the plastic clip-like pieces that keep the hoses parallel and prevent tangling.

    I called McMaster Carr, and they don't know what I'm talking about. lol Does anyone have a name or a source/part number for these? I suppose zip ties might work in a pinch, but they usually move or slide down.

    Thanks!

    You will find these clips in the electrical department of your hardware store. There are screw on and self adhesive available.

      To keep the hoses parallel, use two zip-ties. The first goes around both hoses, loosely, then put the second around the first between the two hoses to form a "waist". It'll take a little fiddling to get the tensions right, but the zip-ties should not slip and your hoses will stay organized. This is an old automotive trick for organizing wiring harnesses.

        I'm sure these are overkill, but should ever need to be replaced;
