by DWMillerHeya,
We have recently changed up our recipes and the beers have been really nice and thick. All kinds of wheat and oats.
The problem is the hops didn't drop out of suspension very well. Even after 4 weeks.
I spund so I am thinking that doesn't help so I might have to stop that all...-

by IcedpyreJust a question of curiosity more than anything. For those that dry-hop regularly, do you try to control hop creep at all? If so, what methods do you use? Lower addition temps, wait until fermentation is done? Perhaps lower contact times or another method? Alternatively, do you just let your hops do...

I have 20bbl brite tanks with 3 zones. As we get to the end of a batch I feel the top 2 zones are wasting energy and cooling especially since the insulation layer on these aren’t very efficient (a lot of sweating on the outside). Has anyone isolated their top two zones and if so I am assuming you...08-23-2023, 10:04 PM

by jabrabenI'll be brewing on a small (1 bbl) system and I'm weighing the pros and cons of chlorine removal via campden tablets vs. activated carbon filtration. My impression is that most breweries use carbon filters for this purpose and I'd be interested in hearing why that is. I've read up on it but most of...
