ISO Head Brewer at Diamond Bear Brewing Company in Little Rock, Arkansas
Diamond Bear Brewing Co. is a well established, award-winning production brewery and restaurant. We are located in the beautiful historic district of Argenta in North Little Rock, Arkansas. (http://www.argentaartsdistrict.org)
We are looking for a Head Brewer with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a brewer, and experience working as a lead brewer in a mid to large sized brewery. We’re looking for someone who has the ability to design a recipe to augment our award-winning beers. Our brewery features a new, American made, 3 vessel, 30 barrel system with 30, 60 and 120 barrel fermenters and an equal number of bright tanks.
Requirements:
• Two years of experience as Head Brewer or two years of experience as Lead Brewer in a mid to large craft brewery
• Developing and executing new recipes for seasonal and one-off releases
• Solid sanitation practices
• Ability to work a variety of shifts/hours depending on necessity of brewery schedule
• Procurement of ingredients
• Experience with DE filtration
• Quality focus critical and prior lab experience a plus
• Inventory of production and raw ingredients for tax reporting and COG analysis
Preferred:
• Experience with barrel aged production
• Previous packaging experience
• Mechanical inclination
