  • Unitank Filtration Question

So at our brewery we have 3 x 4bbl jacketed fermenters that we would also like to use to carbonate our beer (defacto brite tank). My question is simple really. On almost 100% of our beers we do a 3 stage dry hop. We dump both before and after cold crashing to 34 degrees but no matter how often or how many times we always can only get about 90% of the sediment out. So the question is this. Without moving the cold crashed beer from one vessel to the another is there a way we can filter out the remaining hop trub from the tank before carbing?

If you don't have them- get racking arms so you can get as much clear beer as possible. you'll never get 100% of the sediment out. You could filter out then back in but your loss will be the same or more than racking off. I suggest using finnings also.
