Job Duties:
Keg Cleaning
FV, BBT, Brewhouse CIP
Packaging - Keg filling, bottling, canning, cask prep / filling
Beer transfer & preparation for packaging
Fermentation monitoring
Assisting in wort production
Draft line cleaning
Upkeep and cleanliness of the brewery
Necessary Skills/Qualifications
A basic understanding of brewing science and beer production
A strong work ethic and desire to learn professional techniques in beer production
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brewery SOP accurately and consistently
Strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and efficiently
A positive attitude and the desire to produce beer to the industry’s highest standards
Basic mechanical competence
Preferred Qualifications:
Tri Clamp competence
Production or Pub brewery experience
An understanding of proper cleaning and sanitation methods, safe chemical handling, and proper chemical application.
A functional understanding of brewing chemistry and yeast biochemistry
Prior training in sensory analysis, including off flavors and causes
A formal brewing education
Experience with basic lab equipment and process
Mechanical aptitude, understanding of electrical and control systems; experience in HVAC, pipefitting, or carpentry.
